What's the best FREE Data Recovery Software?

A "CiberBeast" A.K.A. My girlfriend's father erased all the pictures from my camera, i downloaded a program but in only shows me the pictures and says that i have to pay to retrieve them. Is there a free software to recover data from a flash drive and retrieve them for free?

1. I've used this program to recover lots and lots of pictures from floppy disks (from way back when they actually put those things in cameras and stored pictures on them! no kidding! 640x480! LOL :) The disks had been sitting around for years and the file systems on most of them had degraded (dumb unshielded magnetic storage) Anyway, here it is: http://www.mediafire.com/?91l25j2cgjk
