Data Recovery Programs?

What are some great data recovery programs for Windows XP? My computer crashed a few months ago, and I've used a few programs but they're annoyingly complicated. I'm looking for a program where I simply tell it what types of files I want to recover, from what drives. Then it scans... but instead of giving me paths to click on like C:\Documents and Settings\blah blah... I want it to just list the type of filel ike. jpg, then I click on it and it lists all of the .jpg files I can recover. I'd be using it for Fat and Ntfs. Thanks!

Just allow it time to pull in the files.
