What is the Best Recovery Program to get back data after formatted an external hard drive?

And if you have links to the software or forums talking about Recovery Programs please post! In the meantime I will google it, so no answers like"oh there are lots of Recovery programs google it"

1. Assuming that the drive has been formatted and then nothing saved on to it, most of the standard recovery softwares will get the files back. The one I like the best is Recuva (made by the people who make ccleaner) and can be downloaded for free from http://recuva.com
2. One of the best solutions on the market is Easy File Undelete software: http://www.munsoft.com/EasyFileUndelete/ It uses unique modern algorithms to recover files that other software either recovers incorrectly or is unable to detect.
