Can I recover deleted files from my camera if they were deleted ages ago?

Is there any program that can recover files that were deleted off my camera quite a while ago (more pics have been taken and deleted since)?? Using recuva I can recover the photos that were most recently deleted but they arent the ones that I need :( It is at all possible to recover files that were deleted before??

1. When you delete a file, it doesnt totally delete it until its space is needed to be filled with other files, so you can recover them only before you put more files on your memory card. Basically the answer is no, you cant.

3. Nope. They're long gone! Once you took more pictures, you over-wrote the space they were using and took away any chance of recovering them. Sorry!

However, to increase the chances of being able to recover pictures after they have been deleted you must not save any new photos, files or data to it. When you delete pictures (or any files) from a memory card or USB memory device the data itself isn’t deleted, just the file system pointers that says where the data for those files is located. The area where the deleted picture data was stored is also now marked as free space so it is available to the system for any new files to be written there instead.
